MAMIE GUMMER – MERYL STREEP’S DAUGHTER

Meryl Streep is an actress who needs no introduction to anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock for the past several decades. Being the daughter of someone so rich, famous, and extraordinary has to have come with its unique set of pros and cons. Of course, the “rich” part means you don’t have to worry about loans or credit card limits, but the “extraordinary” part puts a lot of pressure on you to prove yourself to be just as talented.

Streep’s daughter, Mamie Gummer, is trying to do just that. Although she’s not as famous as her mother, Mamie has had her fair share of onscreen roles, most notably in shows like Emily Owens M.D. and The Good Wife. We’re sure that having Meryl Streep for a mom opened up several doors of opportunity to Mamie, but the best part is that she’s taken control of her own career and is making a name for herself separate to her mother!
