There’s no doubt that today’s generation faces far more pressure in this fast-paced world than our ancestors did. Everything is urgent, everything is crucial, and everything seems so stressful. Stress in itself is quite unpleasant to deal with, but did you know that it can also bring about several problems, both mental and physical?

One such problem is the acting up of your skin. Your body may deal with stress by breaking out in hives, acne, eczema, etc. When this is the case, rushing to buy expensive creams and gels isn’t exactly the right solution. It’s important to deal with the underlying cause of the stress, and if possible, take some time off to slow down and relax away from the problem. Take a day off, go on a road trip with your best friend, book an appointment at that spa you’ve had your eye on, whole up in bed with some junk food and your favorite Netflix show – whatever will help you relax. Trust us, your skin will thank you for it!
